The Bucks County Workforce Investment Board, Inc. is charged with:
Leadership:
Identification of and responding to issues that affect the workforce investment system in Bucks County and creating policy around those issues that affect Adults, Dislocated Workers, and Youth constituencies in Bucks County.
Strategic Planning:
Developing the local strategic workforce development plan.
Local Labor Market:
Identify the growth-industries in the local and regional area.
Address the needs of the emerging workforce through Youth Development activities.
Increase the local economy by creating a highly-skilled incumbent workforce.
Vision:
To create and maintain a well-trained, high performing, self-sufficient workforce committed to lifelong learning that meets the growing needs and expectations of employers to achieve an economically vibrant community in Bucks County.
Mission:
Develop the expertise of Bucks County residents, workers and employers that creates a climate for long-term success in the workplace.
